So, I’ve got plenty of projects, as I’ve alluded to.
Some of the items I’m working on include a rocking horse (still. Long story, don’t ask.), a couple of pens, a couple of smaller boxes, some shaving equipment, a coffee table, and a college dining table. Some of the long-term projects, other than college, include a series I started to publish on WoodTalkOnline, before the blog there was discontinued by the site owner. I don’t hold any grudges, as I myself am partly to blame for the blog feature being removed. (One reason cited was a reduction in traffic: my own failure to visit or post regularly is indicative of others’ similar reactions and attitudes from it.)
However, I’m going to start recreating portions of that experiment here, in the Projects category. I’m only going to tease right now,
because the shop I have is an outdoor shop, and with winter coming (and the rain already here), I’m packing my shop away for the winter. (One of those posts you can expect from me come April/May is on rust repair and grumbling… we’ll see how bad it is this year.)
Until then, I’ll leave you with a photo of the shop as it exists right now, just about packed away…. until I can get some time to squeeze in 5 more cubic yards of projects and materials.
